I never thought my journey of studying early childhood pedagogy with a focus on resilience to become a teacher would lead me to help hundreds of parents become who they are meant to be.

And most of all, helped me find myself in the midst of it.

I never felt safe to express my emotions as a child, and I thought it was me. Until I worked at a Kindergarten and saw that it is not our children that need fixing to fit into our world and beliefs, but we do to see them for who they are. Children.

It is not your or my fault that we are that way, that we belief we need to bent our kids to our demands, that they need to behave "good" so they are "good", but it is our responsibilty to change the narrative.

I don't believe in perfect parenting. There is no such thing. We need to start with ourselves, to be able to love ourselves through the hard times, so we can love our children through theirs.
